SourcePing

This policy explains what SourcePing collects, why, and what you can do about it. SourcePing does not read or store the messages people send in your server.

What we collect

• Server configuration — server and channel IDs and names, the sources you monitor, your announcement rules, schedules and filters, and the server’s timezone.
• Dashboard sign-in — when you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username and avatar and the list of servers you belong to (the identify and guilds scopes), so we can show the servers you manage. We never receive your email address or password.
• Activity records — which server member changed a setting and when (an audit log), and which announcements were posted.
• Monitored content — titles, versions, text and links from the public sources you choose, so we can detect changes.
• Billing — if you subscribe, Whop processes the payment. We receive your Whop membership ID, plan and renewal status, never your card details.
• Technical logs — error and request logs used to keep the Service running.

How we use it

Only to run the Service: checking sources, posting announcements, showing the dashboard, applying your plan, preventing abuse and fixing problems. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

Cookies

The dashboard sets one sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 14 days, and a short-lived cookie that protects the sign-in step. It also remembers your light/dark theme in your browser.

Our website also loads the Whop Pixel, from our payment provider Whop. It records which pages you visit on sourceping.app so we can see which ads and links bring people to SourcePing. Whop processes that data under its own privacy policy. We don’t use any other analytics or advertising trackers.

Where it’s stored

Data is processed by our hosting providers: Railway (application, Singapore), Supabase (database, Japan) and Vercel (web dashboard). Payments and the Whop Pixel are handled by Whop. Each provider processes data only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

• Your server’s configuration is kept while the bot is in the server, and after it is removed so it can be restored if you re-add it, unless you ask us to delete it.
• Sign-in sessions expire after 14 days.
• Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can remove monitors and rules at any time in the dashboard or with /monitor remove. To have all data for your server or your account deleted, or to get a copy of it, email support@sourceping.app from an account that manages the server. We’ll respond within 30 days.

Children

SourcePing is not directed at children. Discord requires users to be at least 13 (or older where local law requires).

Changes

We’ll update this page if our practices change and change the date at the top.
